What are endorphins? And what does endorphin release mean?
Imagine you got injured and still there is not even a little sensation of pain in your body, rather you are feeling the opposite, i.e., fully relaxed and energetic even in the organ that specifically got injured.
Is that ever possible?
It would not have been so but for the magical effect of the chemicals named endorphins produced by hypothalamus in our body.
The etymology of the word tells that it’s a combination of ‘endo’ and ‘orphin’, where ‘endo’ is the short form of endogenous and ‘orphin’ is the short form of morphine. Together with both of them united, the word means ‘a morphine-like substance produced within the body’.
Endorphins include alpha endorphin, beta endorphin, gamma endorphin, alpha-neo-endorphin, and beta-neo-endorphin. They play a role in the treatment of depersonalization disorder as well.
Beta endorphin maintains homeostasis in the presence of pain. It saves us from sensing intense pain by using its morphine-like effect. Whenever our body has any good sensation running through it like a ‘runner’s high’ or a ‘dancrer’s state of flow’, it’s almost always the handiwork of endorphins alone.
Endorphin release by hypothalamus in our body is associated with specific brainwave frequencies. If we can induce the brain to produce these frequencies, the endorphin release gets accelerated and we can easily feel the ‘high’ generated by it in case of chronic and acute pains for a feeling of relief without taking any medicine for the same. It also imparts a feeling of being at peace with your own physical and mental self.
Brainwave entrainment done through entraining brain to certain specific frequencies helps generate extra endorphin needed to deal such situations and releases it into the system to take care of what it has been released for.
Endorphin Release recording directly addresses your brain to do the needful without consuming harmful chemicals or undergoing stressful strenuous activity. And you immediately start feeling absolutely comfortable and healthy in you body and your mind!
The Modus Operandi:
Binaural Beats - Sine waves of two different frequencies are projected into the each ear separately. The brain responds to these two stimuli by generating another sine wave with a frequency equal to the difference between the two projected frequencies. Though this new frequency is not in the audible range but the brain bypasses the ears and gets tuned in to it, it lying somewhere in the Alpha or Theta range of frequencies (between 5-12 Hz) and enters into their altered state of aware consciousness.
Isochronic Tones - Isochoric tones which are a later development are more effective than binaural beats. They use equal intensity tones, but the pulse speed is greater. As a result, the brain tune in to them faster and better.
Endorphin Release recording uses Alpha Frequencies to trigger the release of Beta Endorphin.
The entire journey through entraining the brain either with binaural beats or else isochronic tones is a relaxing journey which everyone loves going through!
Why don’t you try it once too!
